Built from a missed call.

In 2024, I was running a dental practice in Dallas when I realized something that kept me up at night: we were losing patients before they ever sat in the chair. Not because of the care — because nobody picked up the phone.

My front desk staff was great. But they were human. They took lunch breaks, called in sick, went home at five. Meanwhile, the phone rang at 7 PM on a Tuesday, and a new patient went to the office down the street instead.

I started looking for a solution that didn't exist yet: an AI receptionist that sounded like a real person, knew the practice inside and out, and never missed a single call. So I built one.

The first version ran in my own practice. Within three months, we went from missing 30% of inbound calls to missing zero. New patient bookings jumped 40%. The ROI was immediate and obvious.

That's when I knew this wasn't just a tool for my office. It was a tool for every small practice, every law firm, every business that lives and dies by the phone. First AI Employee was born.
